Memories
I find old photography fascinating, because it allows me to see the past and especially my family.

" I am going back "
Many deported migrants try to make there way back across the border. Hundreds of migrants are dropped off everyday on the Nogales, Sonora border. Few go home but others linger around looking for a chance to sneak back in.

A weekend with my Grandma in Mexico
My Grandmother sits infront of her window everyday watching the Border Patrol work and the migrants cross.
It was a nice weekend, going back to where I was born and where my roots are. It's something I don't do often, but I should. My abuelita and I spent hours looking at old photographs and sharing stories about the days when the wall used to be a wire fence. For the past 80 years she has seen the border change in front of her eyes. The same spot where she lives now, was where she was born and raised.
